Stella Ignition is a photographic project that explores the uncertain path of humanity’s energy future.
As we race to decarbonise; nuclear technologies - once symbols of fear and destruction, are emerging as possible agents for a clean energy transition. Can something so entangled with conflict and social unease be reimagined to serve principles of sustainability and collective responsibility? Or is our desire to worship technology and our insistence on obtaining more energy only going to exacerbate existing inequalities, escalate warfare, or entrench systems of control?
How do we navigate the paradox of progress?
Stella Ignition invites us to reflect not just on what kind of energy will power our world, but also on the story we tell—whether we chase endless growth or progress measured by wisdom and balance.
Through a personal journey, Stella Ignition unpacks the mystery while refusing to solve the enigma - where ambiguity gives way to hope and fear, and meaning lies not in answers, but in the unknown.
